The Importance of Math
Math is so important because it is used in a number of things. It is important for work, and things like changing the chanel, you have to use numbers and know what you are doing. It is required all around the wold, not just in the US. If you want to major in anything in college it is mandatory that you take atleast 2-4 years of math. Every fact of life on earth uses Mathematics in one manner or another.Besides just that, math is needed in nearly every job from a high school summer job such as a cashier to an architect, math skills are always needed. Math is prominent in all aspects of life. Math is the most common subject in life besides English . Math is an everyday tool . It is helped for life because if not the "Real World" would be a big confusion . example ~ when you go to the store and the cashier gives you the wrong amount of change AND if you don't know math you would be stupid enough to go out of the store with the amount the cashier gave you . You wouldn't want to be this person and not have a correct amount of money to spend on your bills or something Math is very important in life because it is very helpful and when you are cooking you have to know how much ingredients your have to put in your food.

'things like ' such as, not like. Like is when you're comparing or relating something. You're actually listing.
'you have to use numbers and know what you are doing.' This seems controversial because you really dont need to know math just to know what you are doing or which channel your favorite show is on. Just know which number the show is associated with and bam...you have your show. Anyways...back to commenting.
'atleast 2-4 years of math' take 2-4 math where? in college? What if my major was music or dance...would I still need 2-4 years? Please be specific.
